    I am looking for flat pieces of Tonga Shelf Live Rock and none of my LFS really get these pieces and when they do, they often will keep it for their own tanks. Does anyone know where you can get some of this online? ;D

    have you checked craigslist? usually people that are selling setups will part them out for the right offer, and you can kinda gauge by their pics what kind of rock they have.

    I have been all over craigslist looking.. Lots of live rock, but no flat slabs. :(

    Tonga is banned again, so you will have a hard time finding any. Only when existing tanks get broke down.

    I was looking for the same and used Utah Lace rock instead. Nice flat thin pieces for shelf work.

    Not that I'm a Tonga expert, but export was banned before. They allowed it again and now it banned again. So it won't be readily available.
