Tongue/Slippler cora???

    My LFS has a HUGE tongue coral or slipper coral which ever one you want to call it! It is only fro $50 bucks, it has been there for sometime and looks really nice! I have never heard of them or seen them, im guessing they are some type of LPS? What are care requirmetns?

    They used to be so common at LFS. Easy lps, treat pretty much like a fungia

    I hear long tentacle plates are very hard to care for, are they like them? or like a regular plate/fungia?

    Regular, they do move around on the sand bed. I had mine for 3 years, before I took my tank down. Placement in sand bed, mod flow, may take meaty foods.

    more like the regular short fungia. But long tentacle plates arent that difficult ime.
