First, I have to compliment you on this build and your comprehensive and informative book. I have learnt a lot from you and am committed to keep doing so.
I am grateful that you happen to be a member of this forum. Viva 3reef!!!!!
Since I am planning on a 300 as well and still have lots of time until I can start setting it up (at least 6 months). So plenty of time to save more $$ to buy the best equipment (which is not always the most expensive).
May I ask why you didn't include a refugium in your setup? I saw reviews about that skimmer and its a true monster! But I always considered a refugium for my next tank.
I never had one, so I'm new to this fad.
You said that your energy consumption has remained the same as with your 90g. Even with the T5s? (Btw. I was planning on getting Buildmyled for my 300dd but now I am wondering whether I can't go with your choice. Do you build these lights or can you recommend someone who would?)

This tank with its setup is simply AMAZING!!!!
