Legitimate question and one that you could ask about these expensive models too. I could buy a $200 pair of designer jeans with faded marks and holes that wouldn't last as long as a 15 dollar pair at Walmart. Store brand foods are often repackaged brand foods. I.E. Great Value corn flakes were probably Kellogg, or a similar known company.

Well the ecotech doesn't compare par wise, apparently. Pick your poison. No light is perfect.

Are you saying the the expensive models won't last as long as these cheap models. If not then this is a bad comparison.

Could you please point us to the store labeled LED fixtures that are the same as the high end LED fixtures for a nuch lower price. Again.....bad example.

Well its pretty well known that the bridgelux leds do not penetrate as well as the cree is it not? so it comes as no surprise that the cree lights would have higher par lower. Plenty of par for my 40B tho! :)

Now we need to find par readings on the taotronics with cree leds. see what thats putting out.

The thing that is baffleing me is how they get such high par with 120 degree optics.
