I'm gonna hopefully get the Apex Jr. when it comes out. That way I will be able to tell if my tank is OK when I am not home...say, check equipment/parameters on my droid phone and turn off the heater when the water gets too hot.

I like that you control it from the computer as well. Much better than just a display at the tank.

Yeah when I saw that temperature I immediately unplugged the heater. I have since removed it from the tank and now runs at an even 77*...pretty good for it used to be kept at 80.

Luckily I didn't have any livestock in the tank other than 5 hermit crabs...3 of them died.

...back to the thread topic. lol. Sorry about that.

There are small asterina star fish that eat corraline (many consider them a pest though). Also urchins will eat it.

Astraea snails eat coralline, I have a few. They are really slow at it though...honestly unless you bought a ton of them, they won't be able to keep up

I had two turbos that ate my coraline all day until I got rid of them

My pincushion does a good job at keeping mine in check. Sorta. I don't have it in the front glass. Just the corners. But my back wall and overflows are covered. As are the rocks. You can see the path he takes as he eats it.

Downside is it grows back really fast and the little bugger picks up any loose frags.
