Well as you all should know I got a pair of clowns the other day (with the 100 pics i posted of them hehe :) ).. Well At first they started off staying in the middle of my tank in the very front, They have now both been staying in the left corner of the front. They havent gone by any of the rocks, and barely stay away from the front glass. When I see them trying to swim to the otherside (thats if theyre trying).. It looks like they try to swim real fast but not getting anywhere... They are healthy as can be, so I have no worries on that. But their still real little and Im wondering if the current is just to strong for them.. I have 2 powerheads, One on each side up towards the middle/top. Ive heard that they are very adaptable to currents, or should I move one of my powerheads?? I would just like to see them exploring the tank more :)

I would try slightly re-directing one of the powerheads... are they Koralias? if so your clowns shouldnt really have problems unless they are really small. When clowns are babies/ adolescent, they are extremely weak and cant fight tough currents. I have seen this before and with a simple re-adjustment of the head the clowns were happier than ever and went on a tank adventure. :D Good Luck!!

What gph is your powerheads. I have two 600gph Koralia's on my 55g and my clowns are fine with the current, I'm sure yours will be also.

When I first got my pair they hung out in the back left corner of the tank for a bit, that's still where they sleep. They will start swimming around more once they feel comfy.

As mentioned, what type and what are the phs rated for? That seems very odd behavior for clowns, or fish in general. My clowns will stay in one spot for a little bit, but they always move around the tank at some point. It could very well be b/c they are small though.
