oh god, I think I've got more than I can handle going on right now, but that's what seem to happen anyway ::). I've got a few tank projects going on. Hopefully this one will be up and running soon http://www.3reef.com/forums/show-off-your-fish-tanks/damon-sarahs-20g-low-108400.html. and it will be a lot nicer than what I've got now. Then I can redo my 55 and use my nice pump, and ATS that I've made, and on and on.

I guess I really do have plenty to do most of the time, it's just that I spend a lot of time thinking about what to do next and why. It just feels like it does not matter much compared to when I was working. I know money is just a means to a ends, but for some reason it just seems to feel more fulfilling to do something at work than at home. I bet this sounds crazy to all you people that spend lots of time at work and don't get to work on your tank much.

All good suggestions, and I enjoy most of them. I have not tried models and don't know if I'd have the patience for them, but that's a new idea. I'm trying to learn more about carpentry, and I knit and crochet ;D sometimes to pass the time. They are great for keeping calm and making little things, but some how I still end up with 2-3 hours a day that I'm trying to just fill.

I'm a dialysis patient, but I do really good with it. I can do most anything (other than eat what you do lol) that normal people can do, but I'm told I should not do much because of the why things can look on paper and the red flags that can come up on computers. It's complicated. I'm also told I should not work, because I'll loose coverage and go into debt big time.

I work for a major Medicaid HMO Insurance company and I know the benefits and elig. differ from state to state but knowing PA benefits even if you work, anyone that is a dialysis patient is covered reguardless of income. They are considered medically needy, even if they have a job and commerical coverage we can still be used as coverage. I would check into that. Our company does handle other states (Nj,Indiana,Kentucky,Louisiana, South Carolina ect....) just not CA

You don't need to be physically handicapped to be disabled.

I know this. I was just confused as most folks who are too disabled to work usually have physical or mental handicaps. I apologize for generalizing. My husband is also disabled and unable to work (broke 70+ bones in his legs and developed permanent nerve damage) but he is unable to collect. I can't explain any further than that without violating the UA so I'll leave it at that. :)

I know there are some ways I can try to work, but it's tricky. I've had two social workers tell me that I should just leave it alone and the chances of me getting in a worse situation is really high if I "rock the boat". I've talked to 2 people down at the clinic that say they are going into debit pretty hard each month and they just pay the minimum so that they can't get in trouble. I understand that this is the way for me to get my life back to what they call normalcy, but it's just been really hard to understand. There gets to be a point that my brain just fries and I can't really understand all the little things in the fine print, but I'm working on that.
