My rocks have started turning colors now and I'm not sure if it's too much algae. Should I just ignore it? Maybe the greenest rock is from being so close to the light?

Algae is going to happen at some point in almost any tank. Are you using RO/DI water?

What are your water quality parameters? Do you add Calcium and what is your alkalinity? Keeping your calcium and alkalinity elevated will help promote the growth of more desirable purple coraline algae.

I haven't added Calcium and I've never checked my calcium level actually, I can go do that though, I have the kit. I'll do the water check of everything and let you know. Thanks

It looks like green coraline to me. Not all red algae is bad night-rida. Red coraline is as good as any other color coraline.

I think I got this, because when I clean the glass little tiny green strains looks like feathers.. only on my glass though..

    Byropsis sp.

As you can see in distant pictures it looks very similar to hair algae, and the two are often confused. Here is a link to a picture of Byropsis pennata, that is close up:

Notice the "feather detail" on the algae. This is what you are looking for in your tank to confirm or deny identification. If you do have it be prepared for a fight:
