Ever since i upgraded my lighting, my BTA is really small and it shows its tentacles only about 3/4'' in length (when before it was about 2-3 inches). The BTA seems healthy however it is just really small now.

BTA has never moved from its spot and is currently, NOT moving.
    Lighting: Nove Extreme Pro 6 48'' bulbs: 3 actinic and 3 10,000K
Lighting Period: 2 actinics on 10 hrs. 4 others on 8 hours
    parameters are as follows:
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    Nitrate: 15ppm
    pH: 8.4
    Calcium: 480ppm

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE BTA IS RECEIVING TOO MUCH LIGHT DURING THE DAY? IT ACTUALLY SEEMS TO GROW A LITTLE BIT AT NIGHT TIME.

Not even close to being too much light. Its simply not opening as much because you have good lighting now. It was probably over extending itself before to make up for lack of lighting, if that makes any sense the way I explained it?

That does make sense...So it would get bigger at night time because there's not a lot of light, and the clownfish sleeps in it at night so it has to open up for her to get in? orrr.....
