Hopefully there is a simple answer to this question that I am missing...
One of my Koralia knockoff pumps won't work in my powerbar. It was working a couple of days ago, but when I got back home it had stopped. So I took it out, cleaned it up and tested it in the sink. So I thought "OK, it was just dirty and should be fine now." So I plugged it back into it's spot on the power bar and it won't turn on again. So I tried another spot in the power bar, still no go. I tested other things in all the spots in the power bar and they are all active plugs. Is this telling me that I am overloading the power bar or is it something else? I have 4x 54 watts T5, moonlights and my return lights and another water pump plugged into the same power bar. Not sure of the rating of the power bar, but it is a standard type of bar that you get at a hardware store. This has confused me, and my brain is still in vacation mode.

that is weird. usually if you overload a circuit you'll trip the breaker. if you wanted to see if the breaker is about loaded up, you could plug in something that takes alot of juice, like a hair dryer and see if that pushes it over the edge. did you try starting the impeller by hand when it was in your tank?

No I didn't try that, but will give it a go when I get home from work.

Well that did the trick. Came home, plugged it in, tapped the impeller with my finger and away it went. k+ to you!!
