Good choice with the koralias. You do have enough flow with all your components combined. Got any pics

no photos right now, I inhereted the tank sort via a $450 check LOL but I got a lot of extras, like a 65 full set up that was dry, plus a 70gallon in the same condition, plus a bunch of stuff I don't think the woman I bought it from ever used.

The Koralia system was my addition, I replaced the old pump a Little Giant 3mdqx-sc with an old giant sized Iwaki pump (1750 at 0 head) that I have had for years (wow that pump is like 17 years old) still works like a cham. I took off the old skimmers and used the Tunze skimmer that I got used from John Burleson a long time ago, its about the same age as the Iwaki. The lights came from a guy down at the LFS that upsized his tank, Not too much different than the ones that were on there but I can use the old ones on a plant tank. The new ones are 2 250 HQI MH and two 130 wt PC, the old ones were 2 150 HQI MH and 2 T5s.

I really love the new Koralia system 4 BTW expensive, but well worth it, so I have the old 2 pump system and the new 4 pump for a total of 6.

    Who said children were expensive????

Do you actually have 6 on each end?
That would be over 14,000 gph of flow .. either way that's more than enough flow. I have 2 K4s in my 180.

yeah I have two at the top at each end, two mid level and two at the bottom for a total of six on each end. It works in this pattern, Top left to top right, then top right alternating to mid left to mid right and so on then totally reverses starting bottom right.

You guys had me worried so replaced the main pump anyway.... KA-CHING I bought a Reef Dart Gold 5300. I hasn't gotten here yet, guess I'll save it as a back up. I can't wait till stuff really takes hold in this tank and it looks like a chunk of real reef, too bad it was so neglected when I saved it from certain doom. Pictures are coming soon, I promise
