Took in sick yellow belly hippo tang need help

I am aware of the ammonia factor, the food was literally in there for less then 2 minutes prior to the fish coming out. It was the easiest way to try to get food where I wanted it in a controlled environment.

 

good luck with the fish, if you are able to get them back to health they could probably make a good addition to your tank

 

Thank you for the advice and any good wishes. I hope the little guy makes it and can go in the tank but judging by its condition it is unlikely

 

Don't think negative. I have seen healthy fish eating well one day and dead the next. Things can turn positive for you. We are here to help and give advice. Everyone wishes you the best.

Just some more info to help anyone that may be able to help, I would describe the fish as pretty much paralyzed, he can move his fins but not really his tail. He has no mobility.

As do I he is such a gorgeous fish, I wish there was some more info I could collect that would help me nurse him back to health if possible. Just so little and helpless right now.

 

Has he ate anything or have you tried to feed him yet?

 

Tried to feed him with some selcon on the food, no joy
