    I have a in sump skimmer on my current setup that works fine, however my sump is a 30g tank with refugium (about a 10g chamber) and my skimmer/filter sock chamber is very small and the skimmer takes up all the room so I have to squeeze the filter sock in there.

    I have sitting around a Top Fathom 100A which can sit outside the sump and free up alot of room. It is rated for tanks up to 100g and on the only review I could find they say it could skim a bigger tank than 100g.

    Anyone ever used these skimmers? I know they are old school skimmers.

    quit using the sock...problem solved. : ) jmo, not a big filter sock fan.
    I love the "coral snow" ; )
