    I used this set-up and it works great. The first video shows how to put it together. I used the air pump with a storage bottle from the second video. Cheap and easy. Get the float from eBay and the air pump from WalMart. The challenge is getting a storage container big enough (I have 7 gal) that you can make air tight. A container with a submersed pump would work just as well.

    I stumbled across that recently, I'm going to order a double switch set up from these folks soon!

    I looked into a bunch of DYI setups... I'm game for splicing wire and breaking out the soldering iron when necessary but ALL the DYI setups I've checked out DO NOT figure in a switching relay. Wayyy too dangerous for a full time set up to NOt have one, around salt water to boot!

    I did a little research on the autotoffoff.com unit. I was trying to find pictures of the relay they used and how they steped down the voltage for the float switch. What I found was that there was no step down voltage for the switch, I could be wrong?

    I just set up the JBJ ATO yesterday and I gotta say, that for $79 bucks it can't be beat! Talk about easy :) I'm very happy with the way it's working :)
