    Hi,
I've had an Aqua Medic SP 3000 Niveaumat top-up system for the past 8 months which I just use occasionally (holidays etc).

Since I've had it, two of the drive wheels have split in half and the thing generally runs pretty noisy and sporadically. I'm really not impressed with the thing and I'm about to ditch it. Aqua Medic say this isn't covered by the warranty so the whole experience is useless.

So, I'm looking for advice on a top-up system to replace the Aqua Medic. What have people found to be reliable and quiet?

    Thanks guys

I purchased a "JBJ" Self Leveling Controller (JBJ-USA Aquarium Products) 8 months ago. I find it to be pretty reliable and easy to use. Sometimes the float gets stuck, so, I have to give it a little shake. For the money, a good investment.

I bought my ATO from autotopoff.com. It was inexpensive and has been reliable for the past 1.5 years. Works great, easy to setup and easy to use.

I use a Tunze unit. It's been awesome. Costs a bit more, but I feel it's worth it.
