I just noticed that my torch has some damaged to it. I hope the pic is clear enough to make it out. I just noticed it today when I had to move the torch. That side had been facing the back of the tank.

Is this something that will heal itself?

It has been behaving normally. It retracted a bit when I moved it to make it easier to snap a pic.

My standard, "I'm new to the hobby" disclaimer is in effect. ;)

I'd give that a 50/50 only because there is some kind of polyp extension. Its really weird that one of the tentacles has multiple tips on it, unless it just looks that way due to the angle. Keep the damaged section in the light and get some food to it asap. If it starts looking worse you might have to remove that head to save the others.
