I purchased a small Torch coral frag yesterday (my 1st Torch). The LFS had it in mod/ high flow, high lighting. I know these corals can be sensative. Ive been reading online that its best at the bottom of the tank for moderate to low lighting and moderately low flow. Which is best?

My lighting: 48w HO T5 and 65w PC (2 fixtures). My tank is 21" deep. The pic attached isnt great, and is brighter than the pic dictates.

    Recommendations?

Mine grow low in the tank without high flow and seem to be doing well. High flow disrupts them and makes then withdraw. Light should be medium IMO.- Paul

i think he will do alright there. You are getting a bit of extension and it IS a new home, just watch to see if he opens any more or not

Thanks to both of you for your reply. The pic was taken a minute after the lights came on. Since then, the torch has opened up double. Thanks again.
