Torch Coral Question

Hey my torch retracted two of the three head completely when the lights turned off, i know they retract at night but is it normal for them to pull them in completely sometimes for a little while,,its still neon green glowing under moonlights and i can see the bright tips retracted into skeleton..

Water params have not changed, nor temp, just the lights turned off and they retracted..i can post a pic but it will take a minute to upload it on photobucket..

the answer im wanting is yea its normal every once in a while, ive only had it 3 days and didnt do it last night, and it was out full today..

 

i wouldnt worry about it, mine did about the first week when i introduced it, and now it retracts about half way at night and each head now gets to be a little bigger then golf ball size!

 

I have a torch coral and a frogspawn. They both close up a lot when the lights go off. It happens every night. Perfectly normal

 

good, cuz i have a hammer that pulls in,,but i mean two of the heads are 100% retracted, showing white skeleton..

but i figured it was fine..

update: all is good now, the two heads are back to normal night extension..i got a little nervous about that one..been a minute since i somewhat panicked over my tank..

 

Sounds like water exchange and poop time
