My torch coral and BTA in my 92 gal reef tank are staying pulled in. My READINGS are:

    PH-8.3
    NITRATES-LESS THAN 5PPM
    NITRITES-0
    AMMO-0
    ALK-PERFECT
    SALINITY-1.023

The only recent change I have had is I replaced the compact flo tubes in my hoods. Any ideas??

Your PH is extremely low. Needs to be at 8.3.
What is the CA? What exactly is the alk? What is the MG? Temp? Lighting? What kind of flow are they in? How old is the tank?

Sorry, I typed the ph reading wrong. The ph is 8.3, the tank is 10 years old and houses a Yellow stripe maroon clown, a hawkfish, and a purple tang. I run a total of 452 watts: 224 atinic and the rest 10,000k. The waterflow is fairly strong coming from the return line from my sump. I run the light for 10hours a day: 2hrs atinic-6hrs all-2hrs atinic. I'm sorry I do not know what MG is the temp is running 86-going to check the heater now. Alk is approx 2.3milli, my test kit just has a low-normal-high test range.

They might just be reacting to the new brighter and higher par lights. How old where the other bulbs?

After I put the new tubes in, the btm moved lower and is now slightly sheltered behind the liverock, but the torch got just huge for the first week and then started to come out less and less.

It only extends its polyps(?) about a a quarter of the way now. This has been decreasing over the last 4 days.
