    i bought a torch coral yesterday and put ot in my tank i want to glue it to a rock will any glue work or specific kinds? this morning it looks to be doing great all extended but i dont notice any sweepers what exactly are sweeper tentacals

    use super glue gel not regular

    +1 super glue gel. Sweepers are the feeding tentacles. They mainly come out at night.

    Super glue gel works better. if its swaying and all the way open thats as good as its gunna get. sweeper tentacles are just its long arms that sway back and forth.

    Those are just its polyps. The sweepers are much longer. I think up to 6 inches. I haven't seen my frogspawn ever send out any sweepers.

    I've never seen either my frogspawn or torch send out sweepers either. I've seen the goniastrea/acans/pearl bubble/favias do it, just not the euphyllids.

    Then again, I placed them kinda far away from everything else, so they may not even realize via chemicals in the water that other corals are nearby.

    Arent sweepers tantacles just its tentacles it can extend to sting other corals??

    so they are sent out only when another coral is to close how long do the reg polyp tentacals get
