Torch troubles

I dont always feed twice everyday with the reef chili. Reef chilli is a combination of three things. Heres a good explination.

I tend to think that if you can keep the nitrates down to zero and the water quality high then more food the better for the corals. I do water changes 30 percent every 2 to 3 weeks and have 2 skimmers on this system. The corals really started growing fast when I started feeding more. Anyway I did not know how much was too much for the phyto. I have seen lots of cool sponges growing after I increased the phyto. Im experimenting a little I guess and I probably shouldnt do this with the display tank. Im just trying to get the most fauna and life from my tank.

When I get home from work I think I will clean out the old canister and start with some fresh carbon. I did a water change on saterday. I did raise the salinity a bit then. Im just being very careful with this because of the inverts in my system. They are healthy and are growing great and I dont want to bother them with some salinity spike. Its at 1.023 now.

If you are doing that, and double skimming....I am just at a loss. 1.023 I don't think should so negatively impact that coral. I keep mine at 1.026...is that where you are headed with yours?

Yes thats where im going with it. It looks about the same still. I guess I wont worry to much about it unless it gets worse.
