That's just awful. So sorry for your loss.

I had been thinking about getting a controller just because I have a Y chromosome and can't resist anything 'tech' but this thread points out some serious insurance value from these things. I think that I am going go give lots of extra thought to safeguards and redundant systems for my new tank. Things that seemed like overkill this morning seem like a darn good idea after hearing about your tragedy.
