Well Diatoms have came and went. Skimmer is still pulling out a lot. I think it is because of the die off in the rocks. I added a small clean up crew, 10 snails, and 10 crabs. I also added a new Yellow eyed Cole Tang today. They are good cleaners. The Damsels gave him a lot of grief at first, but he is holding his own. I am about to bring my U.V. and refugium back on line. Pics to come.

Well I now officially have the "BUG" again. Went and bought a new Orange Fin Tang, and a Gobie. Just finished drip acclimation and added them to the tank. Aggresion started immediately from the new Kole Tang. So lights out for a couple of hours and food added. I will turn on the actinics and check on things.

This is the worst part of the hobbie in my opinion, watching the initiation.

Well they are both from the Ctenochaetus family, no? So I guess that would be somewhat expected? (the aggression that is)

    Hopefully they eventually get along!

Just turned the actinics on for a few minutes. Everyone came out. Tangs sparred tail to tail for awhile, and the Gobie decided to swim towards the top, which makes me nervous since they are jumpers. Shut the lights back off, and he went straight down to the sand again. I will try again in an hour. The Tang tail to tail is normal. Hopefully it will pass in a day or so.
