I have bass in my car. ( very loud speakers boom boom down the road) when I'm bringing fish home do you think the vibration is bad foe them? I'm sure the lfs gets em off a plane? My car can't be louder then a plane. ( one could hope though).. just wondering should I turn it off or let the fish enjoy my tunes.

I would imagine with frequency alone would be bad. The amount of pressure a high end subwoofer can put out in a car is retarded, I have busted a number of windshields in my car stereo days. The DBs in all of my car stereos were significantly greater than that of the cargo area of a plane.

Watch the water in the bag. I imagine you can see the pressure of the bass on the water and then imagine that on an already stressed fish.

I would cut the toons down on the ride home.

I used to have subs in my car and after awhile the volume turned up my ears would start to hurt or i would get a headache. I think i would keep it turned down just to be safe.

Ah yes it is bad. In some countries they use charges to harvest fish which is frowned upon, it can kill them. You wouldn't tap on a glass would you? Just image BOOM, BOOM, BOOM to them as you're driving down the road. Turn it down. I'm sure your neighbors will appreciate it as well.

I'm sure the fish would enjoy your tunes as much as all the other cars around you do. ;D

It will probably hurt your fish less than it is hurting you. Your fish will only live a few years, anwyay. It is fun for a couple of years now, but in a few years...the rest of your life and tinnitus is really aggravating and won't go away.
