I read that from a few ppl. when I was researching them. Were all of your joints glued? Did you have a hose clamp on the connection. The only way you can lose siphon is if the system is pulling in air. But thanks for the heads up.

i had all my joints glued and it was air tight. i ran it in my garage for about a week before installation while simulating power outages every couple days. it worked like a charm so i installed it. about 2 weeks later i came home from work and it was overflowing very slowly outa the tank. i wish ya the best with yours. i didnt get to lucky with mine.

It's Midnight here...I've been switching everything over for the past 3 1/2 hours...just about done now. Pics soon.
The t.v. got large and thin and moved on to the wall..but since I set my tank up I hardly ever watch it.:)

    Conversion!

Got it swapped out last night. I'm just posting the one pic for now because I have some macro's coming from reefcleaners that will be here Friday. Also I was worried that it would for some reason fail and couldn't get to sleep until 7a.m. It's working just like it should though, hope it stays that way. ;D

    awesome! that looks great

my guess on the siphon losing suction is that it slowly pulled in air bubbles from the intake and it couldn't clear them because the water flow wasn't fast enough. thats just a guess though.
