Now that was funny! And I bet she could too, never seen the photos you're referring to however.

    Cheryl,
Wouldn't that actually be more of a photography type of forum though,
about the pictures, and not the entire system?

    Todd

    Just food for thought

Great thread Todd. If you want to really showcase a tank each month, I'd recommend (if we could potentially get people to contribute) the following:

    1) Get members to submit their tanks for consideration
    2) Have a few members (call it the Tank Showcase Board or something) who get together to pick the tank
    3) That same board rotates through its membership for who does the interview with the "winner" on a given month
    4) Get the "winner" to submit numerous photos of all aspects of the tank (filtration, equipment, lighting, etc.)
    5) The person who does the interview writes up the story on the tank
    6) The story follows the same template, regardless of who's writing it so that each month the article is consistent.

My thoughts on suggesting this is that if we can provide more in-depth reviews of successful systems of differing sizes and types and highlight what makes them successful, written by knowledgeable people then we could provide a real service to aquarium community at large and draw in additional members.

Again, my thoughts exactly and I really like #6- a template, and I know we've heard it before, but for this 'award' size doesn't matter.
I don't want to see all Radion Pro LED tanks, but different types of successful tanks.

    This could happen

All of our tanks are our tanks of the month, or year, or day, or every moment we look at it and are proud. Why compete when we can just share pics or just describe that awesome moment?
