I got a piece of live rock with about 11 Ricordea yumas on it about 3 weeks ago. When I brought it home and acclimated it two of the smaller yumas were partially hanging onto the rock and half off. I put the rock at mid point on a shelf rock of my 55 gal tank. My lighting is 2-PC 10k daylight and 2-PC actinic. My parameters have always been stable, the only reading is phosphate has been around 5 ppm in the last two weeks. since introducing the yumas the smaller ones about 4-5 have melted away and the larger ones have been shrinking. They seem to often be spewing something out of their mouths sometimes clear and sometimes brown in color. I have not had any experience with these any suggestions before I lose all of the yumas on the rock?

    thanks

Your params may be too good. My mushrooms did the same thing and I have all perfect params.

I figured they should have adjusted by now in the tank, and did your mushrooms come out of it or die?

The big ones just shriveled up real small and bleached a bit the way you described.

did you do anything for them or did they come out of it? Mine are just looking worse each day. The tips on the large ones are a little white but otherwise no change in color just at times hanging on partially and curling up and not fully extending.
