Here in eastern Ohio,we're having outbreaks of blue green algae blooms in our local lakes, ponds and streams.Apparently, this is some nasty stuff.Quoting from a local newspaper-"it's loaded with neurotoxins and liver toxins" the neurotoxins can cause adverse nervous system dissorders that be permanent or possible to even cause death along with liver toxins that can make you sick with stomach flu like symptoms for many days. Most all of our local swimming holes, state parks and beaches are closed and there are warnings about preventing any contact with it,no fishing, swimming, etc. They even said if your in a boat, not to rinse your hands in the water, even if the water looks good.Anybody else seeing this in other states?
