Any updates?

 

No updates really. The tank has been up and down lately. Even though I kept all my LR, I still think I ended up with a bit of new tank syndrome. Some coral didn't adjust to well. Probably due to new flow patterns, lighting being a tad more powerful with a full open top, etc... I will hopefully have some pictures here in the next few days or so. ;D

Updated? How the NTS treating you?

 

Hey Sacul, sorry for the late response. After a few months of scratching my head and not figuring out what was going on with the tank, things finally starting coming together. I changed out my RO membrane in my Spectrapure and my doser was acting up a bit. I did lose a few sps colonies and sold some other colonies to a few friends. Kind of going back to a mixed reef look for now, I was kind of bored with the full sps tank look, not much movement and IMO LPS have way more vibrant colors then sps. Still have all my wrasses and even added a few more really rare Halichoeres Species of wrasse. I've got a good buddy that runs a Fish Service Business in LA area and he has a coral hookup for basically every collection site. So he gets some really neat stuff in and I will probably be adding some really cool LPS from him soon. Other then that, all is well! How did the move go? and when is the new tank coming together? ;D

 

Oh yeah, there will be an update this weekend for sure!

Hey man, glad to hear youre still sticking with it. The tank move went very smooth, gone and setup back up in 6 hours. We haven't moved yet. I'm actually building another tank, only 26 gallons, so it will be easier to move when the time comes. Build thread in my sig.
