How do you keep your GHA and other algae's in check?

 

I do have some major filtration on this tank. I have an oversized skimmer running on it and a 20 gallon refugium stuffed full of chaeto. The tank is also very established and has a lot of LR in it. I have a very minimal clean up crew in this 90 gallon tank, so my filtration does the job. I also feed this tank very heavy as well due to having some very nice wrasses and a Lavender Tang in it. I do minimal WCs too, I was actually losing SPS for a while from the tank running with minimal nutrients in it. So as of lately I've been mucking the water up and the coral is doing great!

 

how is your lavender tang. Mine is kind of a bully but it never get serious. Half the fish ignore him out right even when he is threat displaying in his face.

 

My lavender tang is pretty mellow, until I put his nori rock in the tank! He will guard his seaweed a bit but nothing to aggressive. It took me about two weeks after introduction to rid the ich off of him but he's pretty clean now!

 

Great looking additions Travis. The green coral could be a hydnophora.
