    That's not what sync/antisync means... The sync/ anti sync means that if one is pushing the other is pulling or they are pushing at opposite times like in pulse modes... They both will run at the same % (unless you are using an apex to manually change that % of one) Just at opposite times because they are on opposite sides.

    Ok, I run my MP40s with the Reef Crest Mode, usually. It's the setting that changes its power by itself to create random flow. When the master is at 80% of the power, the slave is at 20%, vice versa. This is how Anti-sync acts, with the pumps being placed on opposite sides, as far as I know. On the other hand, if the pumps are placed on the same wall, they should be set as Synced, so they push the same flow at the same time.

    The Short (or Long) Pulse Mode, which I use occasionally to lift up some crap off the floor, or just to enjoy the waves, is a bit different. If they are set as Anti-Synced, the pumps create the flow taking turns at the same %, so they should be placed on the opposite walls. If the pumps are placed on the same wall, they should be set as Synced so the pumps create the same flow at the same %.

    Sorry Travis, I didnt mean to hijack this thread, just wanted to clarify things. :)

    No problem at all. Thats what I thought too, Master is running say at 40% the slave is running at 60%, thats anti sync.

    So wait.... do the Vortechs have the ability to pull water too, or just push?

    Getting Vortech envy...::)

    I stated that wrong. They just don't fight each other. After reading exactly's explanation of what he was saying... he sounds correct.
