Trachy? Scoly? Maybe something else?

    Looks to me like either a Trachyphyllia or a Scholymia (hope I spelled it right)

    My Sentiments exactly! But which one! Now that is the magical question!

    There are two heads that appear to be joined, but splitting, so i dunno if that helps?!

    If I had to guess I would say it's a scoly.

    I'd guess scoly too, b/c of the plump fleshyness of it. Beautiful piece! :)

    Id have to say that it is a Scholy....

    I just did a little research and it seems they can and do split and the Trachys usually will not do so...

    How big is it?.. there are some acans with bumps on the flesh like that.

    I say lobophyllia, rather than scolyomia.
