transfer of fish from qt to dt

    what is the best way to transfer the fish from qt to dt? do you have to acclimate the fish? do u qt shrimp, snails, corals?

    I would definitely acclimate the fish, two different tanks two different enviroments (as slight as they are). As far as shrimp, snails and corals are concerned I personally only did a temperature acclimation by floating the bag for a good 30-45 mins. So far, so good (knock on wood).

    i acclimated my shrimp to temp and drip, since shrimp are delicate to temperature and salinity changes.;D

    I've heard that changes in PH are one of the biggest factors, so I would reccomend just drip acclimating everything.
