Transferring corals from a ich outbreak

Ok it has been 31 days since my last fish died from the ich outbreak on my tank. Well now that i have a bigger tank i want to transfer them.

The question is the ich still present in my tank? It has been fishless for exactly 31 days.

Im tempted to start transferring my corals but i want some opinions first thx

 

Wait a couple more weeks to be safe. Also look up the life cycle of marine ick and use that as your guide.

 

wait at least 6 weeks after the last fish died. some even say 8 weeks to be totally safe

 

The thing is, 8 weeks isn't a 100% assurance. Crypto can stay alive in the cyst-on-substrate stage for an indefinite amount of time, so 8 weeks is only a 99.9% chance it's all dead.

 

nothing is sure in life sweetie. only thing that seems to be sure is you having a problem with all i say. mauh! i feel so loved...lol

 

I think birth and death are pretty well assured.

Not whether they're assured. Maybe whether they're technically a part of life.
