I have a 57 gallon tank that's been set up for over a year and a 30 gallon cube I set up last month. 30g has cycled and I started to add livestock last week. I tossed in a couple hermits and snails from my 57 and drip acclimated my 2 cleaner shrimp I had in my 57's sump, but was curious if I need to do this? I use the same salt, run at same salinity and temp and tanks are within 30 feet of each other. My RBTA split about a month ago and I wanted to put one in my new tank.... Thoughts if I need/should acclimate between the two?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Personally I would just acclimate to temp and pH for most corals, fish and hardy inverts including the BTAs. Longer acclimation for snails, shrimp and sensitive inverts like star fish will not hurt but I do not think you need to drip acclimate anything since the tank is fully cycled.

Whenever I move fish from a QT/HT to the DT, I still do a quick drip acclimation. Usually 10 minutes tops. Might not be necessary, but it is worked very well for me so far.
