Well, I just put the DIY fish trap in the tank...Dotty has wreaked havoc for the last time...she caused my yellow wrasse to burrow to the point where as he perished...all was good for a few months...then yesterday started in on the cardinal...he was dead this morning...I will try to capture...but he will not get a ride to the lfs....it will be a slow walk to the GD. ..IF, I can catch the little chit...if I get it I'll post a picture of the trap and catch...IF.
...and I have tried everything else.

Have you tried just putting some food in the net? Mine will do anything for food, so it might be worth a shot. I'm glad I got a timid one, mine is the lowest on the food chain. Heck my purple firefish bullies my dotty.

yes..YTD ..he's a little bulldog...but he don't harass...he just states his claim..and stays put..he allows a driveby now and then...but he just barks...the dotty has now terrorized two peaceful fish to death...

You can try a single mysis on a really small hook too. I've done that to get a damsel before. My DB tried bullying the maroons right after I added them too, that lasted all of about .3 seconds till it figured out that wasn't going to work :)

Yeah, I had a dottyback once too... that lasted about 1 week.

DIY trap is the only thing that worked... and you have to be standing away from the tank. Just keep feeding only through the trap... he'll eventually have to go in, or starve. Success either way... good luck!
