Traveling to Fort Walton Beach/Destin Florida

    Just curious if there is anything of interest to see or do at the emerald coast Florida that is fish related. We will be visiting the Gulfaquarium but any other suggestions would be terrific. Heading there tonight.

    I would recommend eating fish, and catching fish. Seriously though, I am in Destin right now, looking out the condo window into the Gulf of Mexico. I have been coming here for years, and while there was a couple of retailers many years back, it seems a little lacking right now. As for the eating and catching, though, plenty of restaurants for eating, and we caught some big King mackerel and a couple of spanish mackerel this morning. Also two spinner sharks (~200lbs, and ~80lbs according to the mate) got away. Many of our mackerel were eaten off our lines by dolphins who gathered to feed on our catch.

    It was a good day all in all.
