I had a small Silver Tipped Xenia in my frag tank that had attached itself to a snail shell. It had been sitting in the middle of the crushed coral bed I have on one side of my tank. The other day I put some blue leg hermit crabs in that tank, just a few.
Last night, when I got home I noticed that the Xenia had disappeared! I looked around and found it sitting under the egg crate all shrunk up and unhappy looking.
I had no clue how it got there, though that maybe it had released itself from the shell and one of the pumps had blown it there, (yeah, thats it!)
This morning it was back up on the coral??? Upon closer inspection, I saw the reason for the traveling Xenia!

No, actually I noticed that piece of Xenia was missing one day and then it showed up, then it was gone again. This went one for a couple of days, then I was feeding and I saw this piece scooting across the tank at a pretty good clip and thought, no, Xenia does not move that fast! So I grabbed my camera (which is always sitting next to the tank) and took the picture's.
