they were in a QT and the copper test im sorry to say is do DAMN hard to read. and my blue tang got the white spots while in the QT being treated with copper so thats when im like ok screw this drop my salinity to 1.015 in my DT. everyone i hear useing copper or hypo well copper didnt work for me so im useing hypo. i still gotta get the salinity down to about 1.01. o yeah i freshwater dipped them all to. i mean it dont hurt and this way going from no salt to little salt is actually a good thing instead of normal salinity to low salinity. my kole and yellow are picking off my rocks already my blue tang i cant seem to find lol. and my cleaner shrimp died must be because of the low salinity. FYI cleaner shrimp cant handle the low salinity i guess.

I'm sorry I need more information. Is the Blue Tang new? How large is the QT tank. What is your DT size, what else is in it. Has the Blue Tang been in your display yet? What are the water parameters in the DT.

Test your display tank's ammonia and nitrates. No ammount of medication will heal fishes from a poor environment.

Did you give the copper enough time to work? Well, you are making drastic moves that really aren't necessary. In the future, or now if you can get it over night, purchase a product called "Kick ick" by Ruby Reef. I keep some handy, it's reef safe and seems to work fairly quickly. Another product (perfectly safe and natural) is called "Marine Max" by Tropical Science is a combination of different bacteria to boost the immune system of your fish to prevent disease from over taking them. It also utilizes bacteria that destroy "oxidizers" in the tank to further protect the inhabitants.

    Salinity

The salinity should be lowered to 1.009. When you raised it again do it slowly. How big is your QT. too small of a qt for any tang will stress them out even further. 85-89 is to warm. you want your tanks to be at 77-80 max temp. A temp of 85-89 provides much less oxygen for the fish

    Personally I would SLOW down.

    Are the fish eating?

use 1 method or another. Not everything at once.
I would imagine that your fish are stressed out big time. Fresh water dips are very stressful.
Ensure you have followed the Seachem copper instructions to the letter. If you can not read the test kit for copper then there is little use in using Copper.
Hyposalinity is another very stressful technique. You will need to ensure that everything else is perfect prior to lowering the SG. Just throwing your fish in 1.015 is going to cause more issues that it fixes.

Quite honestly, with all you've done, I'm surprised your Tangs are still alive.

Just Slow down. Do 1 think at a time
