    No need to be sorry.

I'm sorry for sounding like I was scolding you. Just trying to give you advise that I have learned over the years.

+1 on all points. Your temp is about 10 degrees too high. How many tangs did you add at once? What are the other params? Just go slow. Very slow.

Hey Wally, I never got good results with rid-ick that is why I suggested Kick-Ick, it works. Another thing that jumped out when reading your latest post is, are you sure they have ick? Ick really shouldn't be able to survive in copper tainted water. Sounds like you don't have the proper level of copper. Copper is tricky, if you read your bottle it says something like you have get to certain level and then keep checking and maintain that level.

i know and that level is 5mg/l or what and according to the LFS how to use the test it was right. so idk. thats why i wanted to stop useing copper and go with hydro. i had 3 tangs at once i added the smaller blue tang first. so he could get a feel for the tank first and find a good place to call his own then added the kole tang and then the yellow.

ok i know this is a bad thing. but the timing was just horrible. this weekend i was gone from my fish. my salinity was at 1.015 the entire time after taking them out of my QT being treated with copper. but anyways i come home and guess what! all my fish are still alive and look good. my yellow tang is FAT and looks super healthy my kole and blue hippo were out swimming too. but is 1.015 low enough? i dont have time tonight to lower it but i could lower it some more tomorrow. what are you thoughts?

When I copper dip I remove the fish and put him in a jar bowl container that he will fit in. Then I add the copper I use COPPER POWER say like a cap or 2 full. I do this every Saturday for 3 weeks. 1st week 10min 2nd week 15min 3rd week 20min. This has always worked for me.
