I am curious as to who has one or more Tridacna Clams residing in their aquarium(s)? What kind do you have? How long have you had your clam(s)?
Also, does anyone have the newest book on Clams by James Fatheree?
I have the Clam book by Daniel Knoop but it is dated somewhat.

    Thanks in advance!:)

P.S: I would love to get a Black Maxima Clam...Very expensive though and rare!

I have 6 clams right now...3 crocea clams, 2 dersea clams and 1 golden teardrop maxima.
The oldest one has been in my tank for over 1 year..the others several months now..the last one was the teardrop and have had that for 2 months I guess.
I do not have any books on clams..will have to look into that book

thanks! I would love to get just a clam tank sometime and get more clams. My LFS store has this one tank that would be perfect for all clams..however I have run out of room;D

I have James Fatherree's book. It's a very good book about clams in the aquarium. It is a very well laid out book, I still reference it often and it's always easy to find what I am looking for.
