I got a trigger fish today, some what small 3-4" long, but here is my question. Now my tank looks like a sand storm in the desert, the trigger fish is digging under my l/r and creating HUGE hole under some of the l/r, and stabbing at the l/r, is this normal for them? Never had one before, so I am not sure. Thanks

Triggers are very active, curious, and smart fish. Some are more outgoing than others of course, but for the most part they all can display this type of behavior. Often times they will rearrange rocks and spit sand.

    What kind did you get?

Triggers are so called triggers for their fin that they have on top of their body. They will raise that fin and get underneath the rocks and use that "trigger" to hold onto the rock. He is most likely a little bit freaked right now with the move, so he is hiding. However it is not uncommon for them to do that when they sleep, hide, etc. Make sure you have a lot of LR for him to hide in
