longer is always better than taller except in seahorses case. but last time i checked none of your fish were seahorses lol. yes the dimensions are good longer provides more swimming room.

I've read some horror stories where someone "thought" they had a big enuf tank for 2 angels but didn't.....I guess it all depends on the situation

This is so true. They can live years and then turn on each other. Really depends on the fish, but not worth it in my option. 240 is not as big as people think for two full grown angelfish.

ive seen people keep 4 angels in a 180 without problems ever. not saying the tank is big enough but thats not the point. they can be aggressive but it depends on how you handle the tank and them. if they are added at the same time theyll be fine.

I am sure you are right that they "can" work, but I have seen people with clown triggers in a community tank and tangs in 30 gallon tanks. All of these fish were fine when I saw them.

My only point is that if it were me I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't recommend it, but really up to the individual person on fish additions. :-/

look, i ahve kept angels before so i know a bit about them. if it were my tank i wouldnt put anything else in there and put 3-4 angels in there. they do perfectly fine with eachother. websites just have to warn you because there are rare cases in which they wont get along. but that happens with practically every fish in the hobby. i am giving perfectly sound advice.
