mollies are not naturally found in saltwater. 99 percent of the time they are freshwater unless they wander into some brackish. they can live in salt tho. but they are still freshwater fish. and what are you saying about your catfish?

i have a brakish catfish. as adults they live in saltwater. lots of people keep mollies in saltwater and use them as feeders.

lots of people also use goldfish as feeder fish. its okay once and a while but as a main food source its not healthy. i would consider not feeding live foods at all it gets pricey and the health of the fish is always in jeopardy. and brackish catfish i dont think can live long term in saltwater. only reef catfish are true saltwater cat fish.
