    Hey,
On Thursday I put a new gorgonian into my tank, this was kinda late at night. The next day I left for work before the tank lights came on. When I got home the gorgonian was completely destroyed. My trigger ate it. I fed the tank and the trigger ate as usual.
Since Friday night though, he has been hiding in a cave and not eating at all. All my other fish and corals are fine. I think he is sick from eating the gorg. Is there anything that i can do to help him?

well it's a trigger; why'd you put a coral in there? sure sometimes they can be in reefs but don't put a coral like a gorgonian in there at first; if you want a reef with a trigger then test out a cheap coral to see if its compatible

Not worried about the coral. I tossed it. Concerned about the fish right now.

ALL triggers are not reef safe. Get rid of it if you want coral.

I have a good bit of other corals in there, for a couple months now, but again, not concerned with the coral right now. Just want to know if there is anything i can do to help the fish.

nope, you can't do anything besides keeping him well feed. If you keep him full maybe he will stop eating the coral.
