The Undulate Trigger is probably one of the meanest SW fish. There is no way to curb this except by keeping it in a large system. What size is the tank??

That is to be expected from that type of trigger. If I where you I would switch it out with a different one if you really want to keep a Trigger and Smaller fish. Xanthichthys triggerfish would make a nice substitution as they are more Passive and Generally Can be Kept in a reef with out to much of an issue. These fish include Red Tailed Triggerfish, Crosshatch Triggerfish, Blue Throat Triggerfish and Im sure a few more.

Go with a Red Tail (Sargassum) triggerfish, Xanthichthys Ringens. They are not as shy as blue throats and some of the other Xanthichthys triggers. Mine leaves all of the fish alone, but will hold its own if provoked.

A Niger Will indead eat ornamental shrimp, maybe not right away but when it gets larger It may or may not, Usually it goes over better when the inverts are added prior to the Nigers arrival.
