    i have a trigger who at night lays under a rock at night and does not move is this normal?

    Yes! It is normal...they feel secure under and between rockwork, they will also lock their top fin/spine in place so that they can't be removed from there hiding place.

    Mine to sleep between two rocks, and subject with their fin and prick, that is normal in that species. :) :)
