    Hello All,
After seeing the Seaworld post, I thought I would share the trip to New England Aquarium in Boston Mass.. New England Aquarium Home

Giant Ocean Tank webcam - Streaming video under water webcam

You can’t miss the Giant Ocean Tank. This towering, four-story coral reef exhibit is located in the middle of the Aquarium’s main exhibit galleries. Follow the ramp around the exhibit to explore this Caribbean coral reef top to bottom and from all sides. Don’t miss the top floor where you can look down into the water from above, participate in a Giant Ocean Tank Talk or watch the divers feed the animals.

The Giant Ocean Tank is 23 feet deep, 40 feet wide and holds 200,000 gallons of salt water. The water is heated to approximately 74°F, which is a perfect temperature for this tropical exhibit. This tank is so big that it was built first, and then the rest of the Aquarium was built around it.

    Just got back.

    Enjoy.

Thank you for sharing, public aquariums are always a source of inspiration. I'm at the Monterey Bay Aquarium a few times a year, looking for ideas and basking in the glory! Aren't those turtles amazing? The 'outer bay' tank at Monterey displays one as well, in between great whites.

I love, as well as my kids, visiting the public aquariums like Mystic in Connecticut, Ripley's in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and New England Aquarium in Boston, Massachussetts.

Just got back from the New England Aqua.what a place!! I was 7 the last time I was there ,and I'm 42 now,so it's been awhile . I just kept walking around thinking , what's the PH. and the salinity in that tank or what it must cost to run all them lights ,things that I never thought about before I got my tank .If you haven't seen it before ,you should!!

    Thanks for tour...

Would be cool to have a "Public Aquarium Thread" --- so local aquariums or visited can be described...

Here is cool link that will have to do:

    "Aquariums of the World"

    Great traveling...;)

Don't forget MACNA XX will be across the street From the GEORGIA AQUARIUM.
I wasn't expecting to go to MACNA, but Providence saw fit to have my wife attend our Reef Club meeting with Dr. Bruce Carlson as the guest speaker. She was so impressed with his presentation, we'll be hitting Atlanta in September.

Their "Big Fish" really IS a big fish, -a whale shark tank!

And, of course, there is a reef tank.
