Triplemom's 14 Biocube mantis tank! What???

Love this picture! I just took it of Jwin and Bo. Bo finally emerged from his molt and is back to zipping around the tank. We estimate Bo is between 3 and 3.5 inches long.

 

awwww , aint that cute. im not a mantis, but im pretty sure i know what Bo is thinkin . mmmmm fresh meat.

 

My sweet little Bo would never think that! Not that I'm about to find out.....I tried to get Jwin to put his fingers in the tank when Bo was up on the powerhead, but he was too chicken. I'm such a good mommy - "here son, stick your hand in this mantis tank and let's see what happens!" ;D

 

I'm not surprised Jwin was too chicken. Didn't Bo whack him once already? "Lets see if he can draw blood this time!"

 

He did. It was quite comical - watching all 6' 1" of him dancing around the room, holding his finger and wailing like a little girl! No blood though....too bad....;D

 

That's because he hit the finger nail thank you very much

That guy in the picture is cute The mantis shrimp is cute too

 

Must be genetic!

I just watched Bo kidnap a snail. He scooped it up into his arms (uh...smashers) and carried it into his den. I can hear the whacking now. Poor snail...;D

 

kool stuff in that mantis tank.. first time for me really seeing those things up close was last week at my LFS. pretty kool, now i know why people like them.

I just went through all 16 pages and loved all of it. Bocephus seems like such a personable mantis! I loved all his pictures. I can't wait to have one of my own. I don't have the space now living in a bedroom but I graduate in a couple of months and then ill get a job and a house and many more tanks, the mantis tank comes first
