I am using it and I hate it!!! It is so hard to tell what shade it is..You have to do both tests to get results--the syringes are all different as far as how to read. different results each time I use it. JMO--Now do you want to know how I really feel????

    Steve,
I use it and have no issue with it. I have been using them for the last year.
The shade is only hard to tell if you are doing the test improperly-typically its because you don't shake the reagents enough...
The syringes are all different colors and each syringe goes with a different reagent.
The two syringes that are used for titrating the Ca and Mg reagents in are read the same way... The one that titrates the first reagent is read slightly different as you use less of that reagent.

I say it is a good test, accurate and the MOST PRECISE test on the market....
I recommend it all the time!

See how funny that is, two reviews, opposite responses...

    Happy testing!

Thanks for this , I may have to review my shopping list again - I do want to keep 1 x Acro eventually and I know I will need to test these 2 parameters - the Tropic marin one is available here in China. alternatives would have meant me asking other UK visitors to bring with them.

Ill try it and see, nothing to lose
